Ski Dubai en de Mall of the Emirates

In 2006 is in Dubai de grootste indoor skibaan ter wereld geopend. Het gebouw is 85 meter hoog en is 80 meter breed. In het gebouw bevinden zich 5 afdalingen, waarvan de langste 400 meter is en een verval heeft van 60 meter. Het sneeuwoppervlak in het gebouw is  22.500 m2 en is uitgerust met sleepliften en een stoeltjeslift.
Ski Dubai is onderdeel van een gigantisch winkelcentrum, de "Mall of the Emirates".
